Guided Tours of Elton Hall
Details:
Guided tours of Elton Hall made a welcome return in summer 2025 and will continue for the first half of the season in summer 2026. Whilst many visitors prefer to enjoy historic houses at their own pace, we know that others enjoy the greater insight offered by a guided tour. For those who do prefer free-flow visiting, this will be available on dates later in the season. Garden only visits at leisure will continue all summer.

Spring Garden Days
Details:
Exclusively on Wednesday, 15th April or Wednesday, 22nd April, visit the Elton Hall Gardens as they come to life before the start of the summer season. Visitors can not only stroll in the formal gardens but also in the Wilderness garden, usually only open for private tours. We hope for lush, emerging green shoots and colourful spring flowering shrubs to enjoy as well as bulbs in the tubs, beds and borders.
Gardens open 2.00pm-4.00pm, last entry 3.30pm
Please note: Garden and Wilderness garden entry only. The House will not be open.

World Topiary Day
Details:
To celebrate World Topiary Day, visit Elton Hall and admire the neatly clipped topiary, not only in the formal garden but also in the Wilderness garden, usually only open for private tours. Enjoy the late tulip display and see the gardens as they come to life before the summer season.

Elton Park Cricket Club
Details:
The grounds of Elton Hall provide a picturesque setting for the Elton Park Cricket Club, a small village club, club house, nets, and newly re-laid grass strip. A lovely spot for a summer evening's cricket.
Friendly matches are played on various dates throughout the summer. These are mostly shorter-format games and the Club welcomes players of all abilities.
The Club is fortunate enough to be supported by a close community and local businesses that make our home matches special. Heartfelt thanks to The Black Horse, Elton and Elton Village Store.
